Anika Townsend was called to the Jamaican Bar in December 2017. She graduated from the University of the West Indies with a Bachelor of Laws (with Honours) in the year 2015. She then matriculated to the Norman Manley Law School where she successfully completed her Legal Education Certificate (L.E.C) programme in the year 2017. Her journey with TWP Attorneys-at-Law begun whilst Ms. Townsend was a student at the University of the West Indies. She was invited to intern within the firm’s Kingston Branch and contributed to the operations of all Departments. She continued her internship whilst attending law school as she believed that gaining experience in the practice of law whilst attending law school would enhance the learning process. Thereafter, Miss Townsend has practiced in all Departments. She has a passion for the performing arts and enjoys the outdoors.
