Ms. Anika Townsend is the head of the firm’s Personal Injury Department. Her practice areas include both Criminal and Civil Advocacy. After completing her studies at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica she was awarded a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) Degree (Second Class Honours) in 2015. Ms. Townsend continued her studies at the Norman Manley Law School where she obtained her Legal Education Certificate. She was admitted to the Jamaican Bar in December 2017. Ms. Townsend’s journey with the firm began in and around 2010 where she participated in a Summer Internship Program with the firm’s Kingston Office. She returned to the said office and participated in their Summer/Year Long Internship Programs throughout her studies at both the University of the West Indies, Jamaica and the Norman Manley Law School. Ms. Townsend is also a proud graduate of Wolmer’s Trust High School for Girls. In her spare time, Ms. Townsend enjoys listening to various genres of music, travelling and watching documentaries.
