Peter A. Townsend is a Senior Associate at the law firm TWP Attorneys-at-Law, 4 Duke Street, Kingston, and a Chartered Financial Consultant at the Sagicor Group (SIB). He is a proud past student of the Saint Andrew Technical High School, a graduate of the University of Technology Jamaica, University of London, and Norman Manley Law school. Mr. Townsend has tutored and lectured law subjects in various institutions and presented at various seminars on Estate Planning, Financial Security concepts & solutions and Business Succession solutions. At TWP Attorneys he specialises in Property Law (including Conveyancing), Succession Law (Wills, Trusts, Probates), Family Law (Divorce and Pre-Nuptial Agreements) and Estate Planning. He has decades of experience in the financial services sector majoring in Employee Benefits Insurance programmes, Business Life Insurance, Pension Programmes and Personal Estate Planning. He has attained Insurance industry awards at the highest levels locally, regionally, and internationally, including the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) at the Court of the Table (COT) and Top of the Table (TOT). He has served on the Board of Directors for various organizations and is a member of the Saint Andrew’s Scots Kirk United Church.
